GOOD LAWD!

HOLY COW HAVE I BEEN BUSY! Lots has happened in this last week and I was pulled away from my computer and haven't updated. Well then, let's begin!

This last week was pretty crazy for me, it started with a visit to my mother for Easter Sunday. I don't do many things with my family, but usually when I do I enjoy myself and this was no exception. I miss the connection I had with them from when I was a younger and enjoy any time I get to spend with them. Roger decided that he was going to pass on the festivities, but that is just how he is so I don't hold it against him at all, although having everyone together for one day would be nice. For those of you who don't know, my parents have been separated since I was ~15 and it hit me pretty hard when it happened. For awhile I blamed issues I had on it and used it as a crutch for problematic behavior I had until I grew up and realized shit happens. Even though I was extremely angry with my mom for leaving when she did, I still love her very much and get a really goofy smile on my face when I see her (or anyone I truly care about for that matter). Overall the stay was pleasant and I hope to go visit for a little this summer while I have free time, hopefully I will have a girlfriend to bring with me so my family will get off my case about it -.-;.

I returned to my battlestation and found a shitload of new emails that I needed to read, think about, and respond to as well as many phone calls that I didn't answer because I was out of town. I didn't know I was a very popular guy and it was kind of a nice feeling to go "GOOD LAWD!" at the number of messages. Thanks for making me feel good everyone, IT FEELS GOOD MAN!

Anyways, I got situated and settled down to play some video games for a few hours and while doing this I found out that my friend Trevor who I haven't talked to in like 5 months plays in my guild now as a Friends and Family member because of Andrew. This was a nice surprise to have when I started to talk to him and realized it was him because of how he was typing and use of emoticons. After catching up for a bit we both talked about how our sleep schedules were fucked up and we needed to pull a 24 hour operation sleepytime correction to fix them again...and so it began!

We decided to hang out for the first time in months and it was quite a nice change of pace for me. I had been keeping myself at home for the most part and minding my own business unless I had something to do with work/school or if I promised someone I would hang out, so just on the fly going out like old times was very interesting. We quickly realized that no matter how long any of us don't talk to one another (Andrew,Andy,Trevor,Myself) that we will still be the same guys underneath it all and still be able to finish sentences for one another and laugh at the stupid shit that each other does/says. This was such a nice thing because knowing that I have friends who I can grow with and independently from is one of the core things I need in my life for structure, and these guys have been my friends forever (Andrew 11 years coming up soon, Trevor and Andy coming up on 5 years GOOD LAWD!) so it doesn't have any signs of going away.

I went over to Trevor's place around 2, we had already been deep into operation sleepytime correction and were keeping one another awake with silly websites, music, video games, and general laugh out loud moments. Many of our old jokes that only we would get were also provided again which brought up many moments of awkward bursts of laughter while we were trying to pay attention to the games we were playing. Trevor now plays his computer on his 46" TV in HD which is pretty fucking nice I must say, and it also gives me free ways to notice if he is doing something he could get better at in world of warcraft on his character, since he openly asked me for any advice I could give him, but so far he is doing a great job so I don't really have any to give! I introduced him to my tinychat community of friends I have built, and told them to ask him any questions. Lashea immediately decided to ask him any question she could think of, which ended up being a very amusing exchange of capitol letters, manly part questions, and overall awkward looks that made both of us crack up, I was almost in tears at one point. She is now cool people in my books even more than before because of that.

Around 8 pm I moved from the computer chair I was in to his bed for a second and put my head against his wall to watch him play league of legends while I waited for my raid to begin. Last thing I remember is laughing at someone messing up and then I blacked out for a few minutes. He woke me up quickly and talked me into getting some food so we could stay awake until 2 am (which was the target for this operation). We went to Hot Head Burritos which I also haven't been to in quite some time and OH MY GOD it was so good! Spicy chicken burrito yes please! We got back and started to devour these burritos when trevor got out his secret weapon for this operation...although I don't know the name of it off the top of my head, it a powder that you mix with water to increase your focus and ability to stay awake, usually used for working out or college studies. We both took a small amount of it and I immediately noticed a change in my ability to focus on what I was doing and tackle anything I put my mind to.

We raided on WoW from 9 til midnight, then we played a game of league of legends with Travis until it was 2 am. WE MADE IT! we both though, and at that moment I realized how much doing that every night when I was a kid has taxed my body, and kinda laughed at it. He drove me back over to my place and within an hour I was out cold, operation sleepytime correction SUCCESS!

So that's just about it, I didn't include boring work stories because they are boring and no one wants to hear about that shit. OH! I got my hair cut, picture related:

Now, for my awesome music of this post, I give you the new Coheed and Cambria album, Year of the Black Rainbow!

Guns of Summer is amazing

My next update will not be game related at all, so look forward to an intellectual conversation via blog.
