So...in a relationship...cheers lady!
Anywho, lets get down to business! Is it just me or when one of your friends spouts off "Seriously guys, this isn't funny!" does it make it that much more funny? I think so but maybe I'm just an asshole /shrug.
I went to Bargos the other day with Trevor and Andrew to meet up with Andy and share a few hours with one another, since we don't ever all get to be in the same place at the same time. I must say I miss Andy a lot and I wish I could spend more time with the guy, he was the tweedledee to my Tweedledum. That goes for a lot of my friends who I dropped in the Special K era of my life (like that slick name eh?) because I was so stupid. Well there is no time like the present to change so I'm going to get on that.
I want to ride a lawn mower across a large field right now, I'm not sure why but that sounds like loads of fun, I'm going to go see if I can mow something.
Shwayze, can you ask for more?
Alright how about this?
OH! also to clarify this for the viewers at home:
Moi
Notmoi
Glad we cleared that up.
Life gave me a shit ton of lemons

Not in the least bit logical

I'm going to let anyone who reads this in on a bit of how my mind works, so maybe you can understand why I act the way I do. When evaluating a situation, I try to use the most logical and precise method to solve it, which in 95% of the cases is not the correct answer. I have done this since the age of 12 when I realized that I would have to make my own decisions because my parents were too busy to help me with anything that might come up. This has translated into my ability to make friends and be in any kind of relationship, I can honestly say I burn my own bridges for nothing more than peace of mind and a bit of safety from being emotionally damaged. I've never really been the "happy-go-lucky" type of person, and underneath my silly facade, there is a very serious person who values respect above anything else. If I offend you at all or if I don't talk to you anymore don't take it personally, I just don't know any better.
Now that I have that off my chest, time to get to work. I have decided that for this blog I wanted to post a few anime/manga series that I have been following in hopes that other people decide to pick them up. These are all series that I deeply enjoy for one reason or another and I will try my best to explain that reason.
1. Durarara!!
This series has EVERYTHING! and I mean EVERYTHING! From the makers of Baccano (so you know it's good), DRRR!! is a series that is always evolving in one way or another, with a plethora of character to follow and a storyline that is as confusing as it is amazing. Right when you think you have someone figured out they throw another screw in the cog of the series and mix things up, which keeps the series fresh without making it to annoying that you give it up. They make you WANT the next episode to be out already and they make you WANT to know what is going on. Absolutely brilliant!
Durarara Opening #2
2. Working!!
I just started this series a few weeks ago and it only has three episodes out, but I always enjoy slice of life animes and this one is no exception. They have the run of the mill characters you would find in any slice of life, but they are molding them into scenarios that make me burst out in laughter. I can't say too much about the series since it is so young but I suggest checking it out over here.
Working! opening
3. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
YES! FMA:B! I have been watching this series since it came out and I have to say that it does not disappoint! The purpose of this OVA of the original series is to better follow the manga of Fullmetal Alchemist without straying off course with filler episodes or characters that don't make sense in the series. They are going strictly canon folks! I was not a fan of the original series but I can tell you that FMA:B is absolutely phenomenal. I also want to praise funimation for posting all the episodes for free on their website.
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood opening #5
As far as manga is concerned, I have been reading Bloody Monday (Thanks Trevor, this series is the bomb), Bleach, Fullmetal Alchemist, Naruto, Air Gear, and a few others that I will decide to post once I get a few more chapters in. All of these can be read for free over at onemanga.
I need to get started on some school work, and I need to sign up for the arena tournament realms. If you enjoy any of these animes let me know, I always am watching new ones and will share them with you.
PS! KARMA HURRY UP WITH SCHOOL YOU FUCKER! LEARN TO TIME TRAVEL! WE NEED SOME RESTO SHAMAN LOVING! (DID YOU THINK I WOULD FORGET ABOUT YOU?! :D)

SWOOSH SWOOSH SWOOSH SWOOSH! That's the sound of my bladestorm as I dance my way across warsong to rip your face off. :)
Lately I have started to become a bit of an achievement whore but it's nothing too bad, mostly working on pvp achievements so I can get my battlemaster title, also I REALLY want my Tabard of Conquest! So I've been hitting up the Battlegrounds with my favorite homies, Creativename, Ünohana, Lipsy, and of course Deadweight (still a nub but we are working on it :P) and I have noticed that with Moi the more resilience I get, the easier it is for me to rip people apart, which is nice. Warriors are so gear dependent it isn't funny, but I have a pretty supportive guild so it makes grinding it out pretty easy. If you don't pvp I HIGHLY suggest looking into it, as the next expansion seems to be highly focused on rated battlegrounds and pvp class balance, and that is something I personally want to see being an old Guild Wars pvp player.
I have had many people ask me what other games I play besides World of Warcraft lately, and I decided to make a list and give an overall rundown of what each game is and why exactly I have decided to spend any free time I have on it.
Allods Online
I started playing this game back in early closed beta, and I did not enjoy it at all. The mechanics were very slow, the game play was clunky, and the player interaction was asking for a much needed face lift. Well, earlier this month my friend Cyrano told me he and a few friends were playing it and enjoying the game, so I decided to give it another try. The game play has changed for the better, it was VERY noticeable, the pvp was quite enjoyable at a high level, and the graphics are nice for a free to play mmo. I recommend this game to anyone who enjoys pvp but doesn't want to pay $15 a month for it.
Counter-Strike 1.6
One of my favorite games I have ever played, Counter-Strike has kept the spot it earned as "King of the mountain" for first person shooter games over the last 5 years, even with new shooters with better graphics, nothing can beat this monster of a game. I highly suggest Counter-Strike to anyone who enjoys fast pace shooters and is on a budget, it still have a huge online following and will not disappoint.
League of Legends
What can be said about this game that I haven't said already? I PREACH THIS GAME TO PEOPLE ALL THE TIME! It is absolutely the best widely available MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) game online right now (you will see what I mean later). Fast action, on average ~30 minute matches, 3v3 or 5v5 action with two separate maps, upcoming tournament and ladder gameplay, LoL has it all. I suggest this game to any gamer, from casual to hardcore, who are looking for a challenging game that is always evolving (new heroes released every TWO weeks, new maps/game styles in the works).
Heroes of Newerth
Another MOBA game that is currently in open beta (free to play during this time) that is more for the old school gamer who enjoys the original MOBA game dota (or Defense of the Ancient, a warcraft 3 mod which is known world wide) and don't like the cartoon look of LoL. I suggest this game to anyone who wants a more competative MOBA with the old map that we all remember and love!
Bloodline Champions
This is a new MOBA I have been playing that is in closed beta (requires a sign up and invite from the developers to play) that has become quite addicting to me. This game is FAST and I mean that when I say it. Rounds average a minute or two, first team to five win the game. Each team is made of 3 players (random or premade) who work together in live action play (NO TARGETING, ALL SKILL SHOTS AND ACTUAL DODGING!) with the objective being simple, KILL THE OTHER TEAM! I highly suggest people sign up for this game and pray you get into the beta, it is absolutely amazing and some fresh blood in the MOBA world.
That's about it for the games I play, I hope you have enjoyed my review and if you have any questions regarding the games, my username on them, or if YOU have a game you want me to try out, feel free to drop me a message on here and I'll check it out.
Now, if you don't mind me, I need to design a battleground for Cataclysm!
I leave you with THAT RETARDED HORSE!

Technology dependent future?

Alright everyone, time to put our serious faces on and get to business! Today I will be talking about a few things that have been on my mind lately, some crazy dreams I have had (I KILLED EVERYONE IN ONE OF THEM! O.O;) and a few (yes, more than one) videos YOU should watch. Well then, let's begin!
I have a hard time sleeping at nights (everyone knows this though, and if you don't you probably don't know me very well then.) so instead of being pissed about it I use the time to think about current situations we as humans are putting ourselves into. Well, wide awake at 4 am on Wednesday, I decided to ponder how technology is going to change the future in ways that MIGHT not be desirable to humanity.
We as humans have become dependent on technology over the past few years, replacing our manual labor with that of a machine and the click of a button. You no longer have to leave your home to meet new people and make connections that can last a lifetime. Want to know what your friend is doing? Why go a few houses down and knock when you can log onto facebook and see that he is "gearing up for Friday!". We are slowly removing "action" part of "interaction" when it comes to another person. We are becoming lazy and we don't care about it, writing it off as "the new normal" and the "new age". If this is how our lives are turning out to be, how will this world be for future generations? Will technology mold itself into the mainstream and merge with humans for a more interactive future, or will technology take over humanity and become the next path in evolution? Only time will tell but I am worried for myself (Just looking at how much time I spend online) and my peers.
Anyways, on a lighter note I would like to tell you about a few dreams I have had over the past few days. I used to dream every night when I was younger but from the age of 18-20 I didn't dream at all. Recently this has not been the case as I am dreaming once again and some of them are quite crazy, so I thought sharing would be nice. You can tell me if I made the right choice or not later!
First dream I had was one where I was a flower, just a random flower, I can't even remember the color of it to be honest, but I was in a field with no other flowers. It was quite a lonely life for a flower, having to be alone and all. Suddenly a human walked up to me and asked me if I was lonely. Being a flower I wasn't able to say anything, but one of my pedals shed off at that moment, which I suppose was supposed to mean yes. He then dug up the ground a few inches away from me and planted a beautiful pink flower, then smiled with a goofy grin and said "you're welcome little guy" and walked away. I felt extremely happy and that is when the dream ended.
My other dream that I had was very bizarre to say the least. There I was, in an all white room, and I was by myself. The room was very cold, almost unrealistically cold. A voice, neither male or female, filled the room with it's presence and just stated "These people are not who they appear to be, kill them and you will be free." then a line of everyone I know popped up, the emotion drained from their faces, not breathing or moving an inch. I was shocked, and confused, and when this happened I refused the offer, then the line went away. Days after day after day I sat in this white room, which I dubbed my prison, and wondered why I was there. "Who has done this to me? What have I done to deserve this?" This thought kept entering my head over and over and over without giving me a second to think about anything else, it was choking me mentally. Throughout this time the voice would come back from time to time asking me if I had changed my mind, and let me know to say something when I had. Finally after sitting in this room for what felt like months, I said something. "why?" was all that could find its way out of my mouth and into the outer world. "Because this is your time to show us what you can do, you claim to be unlike others, so prove it!" the voice exclaimed in a taunting manner. "I am different, but that doesn't give me the right to end lives!" I yelled in anger. "You aren't ending life Dominick, you are releasing people back into theirs." it stated. I was baffled, what in the world was it talking about? "releasing people back into theirs, what do you mean?" I said with a hint of confusion in my voice. "Just that, this isn't what you think it is, and if I explain more you won't understand, just do as I say and you can go, kill these people, they are not who they appear to be." the voice said once again without emotion.
"Fine" I saw the line of people appear again, stood myself up and wondered over to the first person, one of my friends I knew from years ago, Ivan Soper. He looked like he was dead already, an emotionless corpse with no sign of mortality left. I took my left hand and wrapped it around his neck and squeezed until I couldn't squeeze anymore, he gasped for air a few times but I didn't release my grip, and when he finally stopped, he vaporized into water and was gone. I took a few steps backwards in shock, then realized what was going on. "This is all just in my mind isn't it?" I stated with a bit of a cocky tone. "Not exactly, but these people need you to release them to the normal world Dominick, this is your job." I started going down the line, one person after another, watching people just vanish before my eyes and it felt strange. It wasn't a good feeling, but it wasn't a bad one either, and I started to do it faster, and then before I realized it I was done.
"Excellent work Dominick, now you have one person left to kill, yourself." I heard to voice say when a large spike appeared from the ground a few yards ahead of me. I didn't know what to say, my brain was completely blank as I focused on the spike. I started to run off of impulse, and before I knew it I jumped onto the spike and poof, I was gone and in third person. I woke up then in a cold sweat and was extremely confused, then I went about my day.
Well, now I will share a few cool videos with you!

HOLY COW HAVE I BEEN BUSY! Lots has happened in this last week and I was pulled away from my computer and haven't updated. Well then, let's begin!
This last week was pretty crazy for me, it started with a visit to my mother for Easter Sunday. I don't do many things with my family, but usually when I do I enjoy myself and this was no exception. I miss the connection I had with them from when I was a younger and enjoy any time I get to spend with them. Roger decided that he was going to pass on the festivities, but that is just how he is so I don't hold it against him at all, although having everyone together for one day would be nice. For those of you who don't know, my parents have been separated since I was ~15 and it hit me pretty hard when it happened. For awhile I blamed issues I had on it and used it as a crutch for problematic behavior I had until I grew up and realized shit happens. Even though I was extremely angry with my mom for leaving when she did, I still love her very much and get a really goofy smile on my face when I see her (or anyone I truly care about for that matter). Overall the stay was pleasant and I hope to go visit for a little this summer while I have free time, hopefully I will have a girlfriend to bring with me so my family will get off my case about it -.-;.
I returned to my battlestation and found a shitload of new emails that I needed to read, think about, and respond to as well as many phone calls that I didn't answer because I was out of town. I didn't know I was a very popular guy and it was kind of a nice feeling to go "GOOD LAWD!" at the number of messages. Thanks for making me feel good everyone, IT FEELS GOOD MAN!
Anyways, I got situated and settled down to play some video games for a few hours and while doing this I found out that my friend Trevor who I haven't talked to in like 5 months plays in my guild now as a Friends and Family member because of Andrew. This was a nice surprise to have when I started to talk to him and realized it was him because of how he was typing and use of emoticons. After catching up for a bit we both talked about how our sleep schedules were fucked up and we needed to pull a 24 hour operation sleepytime correction to fix them again...and so it began!
We decided to hang out for the first time in months and it was quite a nice change of pace for me. I had been keeping myself at home for the most part and minding my own business unless I had something to do with work/school or if I promised someone I would hang out, so just on the fly going out like old times was very interesting. We quickly realized that no matter how long any of us don't talk to one another (Andrew,Andy,Trevor,Myself) that we will still be the same guys underneath it all and still be able to finish sentences for one another and laugh at the stupid shit that each other does/says. This was such a nice thing because knowing that I have friends who I can grow with and independently from is one of the core things I need in my life for structure, and these guys have been my friends forever (Andrew 11 years coming up soon, Trevor and Andy coming up on 5 years GOOD LAWD!) so it doesn't have any signs of going away.
I went over to Trevor's place around 2, we had already been deep into operation sleepytime correction and were keeping one another awake with silly websites, music, video games, and general laugh out loud moments. Many of our old jokes that only we would get were also provided again which brought up many moments of awkward bursts of laughter while we were trying to pay attention to the games we were playing. Trevor now plays his computer on his 46" TV in HD which is pretty fucking nice I must say, and it also gives me free ways to notice if he is doing something he could get better at in world of warcraft on his character, since he openly asked me for any advice I could give him, but so far he is doing a great job so I don't really have any to give! I introduced him to my tinychat community of friends I have built, and told them to ask him any questions. Lashea immediately decided to ask him any question she could think of, which ended up being a very amusing exchange of capitol letters, manly part questions, and overall awkward looks that made both of us crack up, I was almost in tears at one point. She is now cool people in my books even more than before because of that.
Around 8 pm I moved from the computer chair I was in to his bed for a second and put my head against his wall to watch him play league of legends while I waited for my raid to begin. Last thing I remember is laughing at someone messing up and then I blacked out for a few minutes. He woke me up quickly and talked me into getting some food so we could stay awake until 2 am (which was the target for this operation). We went to Hot Head Burritos which I also haven't been to in quite some time and OH MY GOD it was so good! Spicy chicken burrito yes please! We got back and started to devour these burritos when trevor got out his secret weapon for this operation...although I don't know the name of it off the top of my head, it a powder that you mix with water to increase your focus and ability to stay awake, usually used for working out or college studies. We both took a small amount of it and I immediately noticed a change in my ability to focus on what I was doing and tackle anything I put my mind to.
We raided on WoW from 9 til midnight, then we played a game of league of legends with Travis until it was 2 am. WE MADE IT! we both though, and at that moment I realized how much doing that every night when I was a kid has taxed my body, and kinda laughed at it. He drove me back over to my place and within an hour I was out cold, operation sleepytime correction SUCCESS!
So that's just about it, I didn't include boring work stories because they are boring and no one wants to hear about that shit. OH! I got my hair cut, picture related:

Now, for my awesome music of this post, I give you the new Coheed and Cambria album, Year of the Black Rainbow!
Guns of Summer is amazing
My next update will not be game related at all, so look forward to an intellectual conversation via blog.

I went out today around 1:30 and spent the day shooting videos for random this and thats with a few old friends. I came back to my place around 6:30, ready to relax and play some vidja games. I was pumped to log on Moi the Kingslayer and fuck some bitches up in pvp with MODICK! (he's my BFF)
Well, what ended up happening was real life pvp of myself versus Time Warner Cable over why my internet and cable was not working. I started the battle by charging to Time Warner Cable and using intimidating shout. "WHY IS MY CABLE AND INTERNET NOT WORKING?!" I shouted with power of a thousand lions. Right when I was about to execute they reacted with a bubble "We are having rolling issues with the internet and cable in your local area, we will work on having it fixed and call you if you leave your number when it should be coming back up" and hearthed.
I decided to drop it since they couldn't do anything about it and return to my place to kill the time. "What to do? What to do?" I thought to myself while looking through files I had downloaded recently. "OH! I haven't watched Summer Wars!" I exclaimed with excitement while starting my media player classic. I started it up and all I could say was SUGOI! It was amazing, the animation was so well done, the story unfolded quickly but not too fast, and the characters were all very interesting. The movie is only an hour and fifty three minutes long, so it isn't too lengthy either. I would highly suggest this movie to any fan of animation, art, or a well written story.
For the interesting something of the post, I have decided to give you some Nerd Floss to listen to. Their lyrics are well thought out, provoke nostalgia (Do a barrel roll!) and remind me why I like being a nerd. Click me! I highly suggest checking them out!
Lashea is boring and doesn't do anything worth posting in this blog. :3

The start of a new decade

"My decade officially starts now" I thought to myself April 1st while lurching myself out of bed to turn my alarm off at 6 am. I know what any normal person is thinking right now, and before you even say it I know it's not January 1st 2010, and I know this year is 4 months old now. The beginning of this year for me was a horrible nightmare that I have decided to remove completely from my life and act like it didn't happen, which is reasonable when you find out you love a crazy person, but hey, that's life eh?
Now that I have taken care of that, welcome to my shiny corner of the internet! Please don't let the design fool you, I will be editing and playing with it constantly until I find one that really catches my eye. I'm thinking a hot pink background with barbie, sound good I know, but it gets better! I was also thinking of posting my farmville status updates...WHERE ARE YOU GOING?! IT WAS A JOKE! :(
I will be posting either bi-daily or weekly depending on how busy I am with everything else in life, probably bi-daily though if I had to take a guess. Most of my posts will include a recently popular link/music you should listen to/something you didn't know about me/a new photo/funny videos so keep checking back to see what my crazy brain schemes up to amuse me.
For the first post, I've decided to give you this photo, since I enjoy it quite a bit and feel the need to share it with others.
Well that just about wraps up my introduction post, check back in a few days for an update.
OH! I'm currently looking for a girlfriend, so ladies, if you have killed the lich king give me a call. No noobs allowed! <3
